Melissa Visits Usona Institute in Madison

Melissa took a moment from her busy fall tour schedule to visit our nonprofit ally the Usona Institute in Madison, WI.

The Etheridge Foundation and Usona are both among the funders of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s addiction research, including the ongoing study that is the first ever clinical trial specifically targeting Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) with psilocybin.

The Usona team, including Executive Director Bill Linton, gave Melissa an inside look at their new campus construction as they discussed their research and the potential of plant medicines to support human well-being.

Later, folks from the team got to rock out with Melissa as they attended her show at Madison’s Orpheum Theater!

The Etheridge Foundation is pleased to be collaborators with Usona, and grateful for the work that they’re doing.
