Choose Only Love Auction Raises $30,000
The Etheridge Foundation's online silent auction, Choose Only Love, kicked off on Valentine’s Day 2022.
Offering more than 70 items ranging from fun to priceless, this treasure trove offered something for everyone: music, art, tickets, collectibles, and more. The items up for bid included an autographed guitar from Melissa’s basement, signed posters from her private collection, and exclusive songs for download.
The featured item was the one-of-a-kind guitar from Melissa's personal collection – she graciously took it off of her wall and donated it to the Foundation. The beautiful 6 String Ovation Guitars Celebrity Elite, Natural Wood Guitar was signed by Melissa and numerous guests from the Melissa's Basement Satellite Radio Program including David Crosby, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Timothy B Schmit, Steve Cropper, Brandy Clark, Tegan & Sara, Kevin Cronin, Serena Ryder, Colbie Caillat, Nancy Wilson, Exene Cervenka, and Mike Peters.
The auction closed with a total of $30,248.50 raised, meaning that we exceeded our fundraising goal of $30,000!
